This n8n workflow inventories AI/model-calling systems across your entire n8n setup and flags exposure risk based on how downstream paths reach human-facing destinations. Run it on demand or weekly to generate a one-line summary and a downloadable ai-systems-inventory.csv report.

What this workflow does

• Runs manually or on a schedule: it can be triggered on demand, or set to run every Monday at 09:00 via the schedule trigger.
• Pulls your workflows via the n8n API: it retrieves all workflows (including nodes and connections) from your n8n instance using an API key.
• Detects AI/model-calling nodes: the workflow analyzes each workflow to identify nodes that call AI models.
• Traces downstream paths: it follows the connections to find nodes that may publish to people (for example, email or other messaging/social destinations).
• Classifies disclosure & human-gate coverage: for each AI system, it assigns an exposure status, including disclosure and human-gate indicators, and records an evidence trail of nodes traversed.
• Produces outputs: it generates an inventory summary (counts by exposure status) and converts the full inventory into a CSV named ai-systems-inventory.csv.

• Integrations: n8n API (requires public API enabled and an API key in Settings → n8n API).

• Setup guidance: optionally standardize node naming conventions (e.g., tags like [exit], [ai disclosure], [ai disclosed]/[persons informed], [human gate]) to improve classification accuracy.
