This n8n workflow captures a new client onboarding form submission, extracts and trims text from the uploaded proposal PDF, then automatically creates the right Google Drive and ClickUp spaces. Next, it uses OpenAI to generate an onboarding task plan, creates 10–30 ClickUp tasks, and sets up a dedicated Slack channel—complete with a welcome message and a Gmail email to the client.

What this workflow does

• Receives a new onboarding submission from an n8n Form with client details and an uploaded proposal/scoping PDF.
• Extracts proposal text from the PDF and trims it to a fixed length to keep downstream processing consistent.
• Creates client storage in Google Drive by generating a new client folder and a shareable Drive folder URL.
• Sets up onboarding in ClickUp by creating a new folder and onboarding list for the client.
• Uses OpenAI to generate onboarding tasks from the extracted proposal text, parsing the result into 10–30 task items with titles, descriptions, and due dates.
• Creates each task in ClickUp by looping through the generated items and adding them to the onboarding list.
• Creates a public Slack channel for the client, posts a welcome message including the Drive link, and sends a Gmail welcome email to the client.
