Instant client confirmations + real-time owner alerts from your n8n Form (via Gmail + Telegram)
This n8n workflow automatically captures new client inquiries from an n8n Form, sends a plain-text welcome/confirmation email through Gmail, and immediately notifies the account owner via Telegram—so you never miss a new lead.
What this workflow does
- Receives new inquiry submissions from an n8n Form (name, email, company, and service-needed).
- Cleans and standardizes the data by trimming whitespace, collapsing repeated spaces, and lowercasing the email address.
- Sends a confirmation/welcome email to the client using a Gmail node. The message includes the submitted company (if provided) and the requested service.
- Alerts the owner on Telegram by sending a message to the configured chat ID with the same inquiry details.
Use cases
- When someone submits your site’s service inquiry form, they instantly receive a confirmation email—while you get a Telegram alert to follow up quickly.
- SaaS operators can centralize lead handling: every new inquiry becomes a verified, normalized record sent to both the customer and the owner.
- Automation engineers can use this as a clean template for combining n8n Form → Gmail → Telegram for lead intake workflows.
Technical details
- Form Trigger to capture fields from the client inquiry.
- set to prepare/format the submitted values.
- gmail node to send the plain-text welcome/confirmation email via Gmail OAuth2.
- telegram node to send an owner notification using a Telegram bot token (BotFather) and a configured target chat ID.
- sticky note for workflow clarity.
Setup overview: connect Gmail OAuth2, create a Telegram bot and credentials, set the Telegram chat ID, then run a test execution using the form’s test URL to verify both the email and Telegram alert.
