This n8n Competitor Intelligence Workflow scans competitor homepages and RSS sources every day at 8 AM, uses OpenAI to turn the findings into a structured intelligence report, then saves results to Notion and Google Sheets and sends updates to Slack and Gmail.

What this workflow does

• Runs daily at 8 AM using a schedule trigger.
• Processes your competitor list one by one by splitting the configured competitor entries for sequential handling.
• For each competitor, collects signals from:
  • The competitor homepage (including title/meta/H1).
  • The competitor’s RSS feed.
  • Google News RSS search results.
  • Reddit RSS search results.
• Deduplicates** items by URL and aggregates them into a single dataset.
• Generates a Markdown intelligence report using the OpenAI Chat Completions API, including an executive summary, urgency score, risk level, and recommended actions.
• Saves outputs by:
  • Creating a new page in a Notion database.
  • Appending a row to a Google Sheets “Intelligence Log” with key fields from the report.
• Notifies your team after all competitors are processed: posts a daily status message to Slack and sends an HTML digest email via Gmail.
