This n8n workflow automatically scrapes competitor product pages from URLs stored in Google Sheets, calculates rule-based target prices, requests a second opinion from OpenAI (GPT-4o), and sends Approve/Reject requests to Slack. When you approve, it updates the matching Shopify variant prices via the Shopify Admin GraphQL API and logs everything back to Google Sheets.

What this workflow does

• Runs daily at 7 AM IST to load SKU, pricing, and proposal configuration from Google Sheets.
• Builds competitor scrape jobs per SKU, fetches each competitor page via HTTP, and extracts price/stock using structured data and regex.
• Uses OpenAI as a parsing fallback when extraction is unreliable, so your repricing pipeline stays resilient.
• Calculates eligible target pricing using the lowest in-stock competitor price, margin floor/ceiling, stock-based constraints, daily change caps, cooldown checks, and ₹…9 rounding.
• Writes daily market observations + rule results into the Google Sheets “Price History” tab and posts a Slack digest summary.
• Sends meaningful changes to GPT-4o for a guardrailed second opinion, then clamps suggestions to hard guardrails and generates a one-time approval token.
• Stores proposals in Google Sheets and posts Slack messages with Approve/Reject buttons linking to a webhook approval URL.
• On approval, validates token/expiry, updates Shopify variant pricing via the Admin GraphQL API, and records approvals/rejections back to Google Sheets.
