Instant SMS alerts from your n8n contact form (with VoxiSMS on an Android SIM)

Turn every new n8n contact form submission into a real-time SMS alert. This workflow sends a short team notification via VoxiSMS through your connected Android phone and SIM, while keeping the visitor’s email and enquiry text safely inside n8n.

What this workflow does

• Collects visitor details: An n8n Form captures Name, Email, and Enquiry.
• Acknowledges immediately: The form confirms receipt to the visitor before the SMS step completes.
• Builds a team alert: “Prepare and validate SMS” creates a concise message that includes the visitor’s name (the SMS does not contain the email address or the enquiry text).
• Controls recipients: “Configure team alert” uses a fixed team recipient (the visitor cannot choose who receives the SMS).
• Preview before sending: With dryRun enabled, Preview SMS shows the proposed recipient and message without contacting VoxiSMS.
• Sends via VoxiSMS: With dryRun disabled and a valid configured recipient, the VoxiSMS node requests an SMS send. Acceptance by the API does not guarantee handset delivery.

Technical details

• n8n nodes used: if, set, code, no op, sticky note, form trigger.
• VoxiSMS integration: Uses the verified @voxiness/n8n-nodes-voxisms community node to send “Send team SMS with VoxiSMS” via your Android phone/SIM.
• Safety behavior: Email and enquiry remain in n8n execution data; SMS contains only a short alert (including visitor name).
