This n8n automation generates a daily Gmail HTML digest of leads in your Google Sheets tracker that need follow-up—so you can see overdue leads, due today, and incomplete records in one place. A single configured owner receives the message, with preview controls to verify results before delivery.

What this workflow does

• Runs daily at 09:00 using a Schedule Trigger (workflow timezone), and includes a Manual Preview trigger to inspect output before enabling email delivery.
• Collects and validates settings (spreadsheet ID, tab name, owner email, and delivery options) before processing.
• Reads your lead tracker from Google Sheets (lead ID, name, status, follow-up date, and next action).
• Groups leads into categories like overdue, due today, and needs attention; future leads and closed leads are counted but excluded from the action list.
• Prevents bad data:
  • Identical duplicate records are ignored with a warning.
  • Conflicting lead IDs stop processing so you can correct the sheet.
• Delivers a single HTML digest to Gmail (best-effort daily delivery), records Gmail’s returned message ID, and keeps preview/skipped results in the execution output.
• Leaves next actions for you: you contact customers manually and update their next actions in the sheet.
