Provide a product URL, and the workflow validates it, scrapes the usable page content, extracts structured data with Gemini, and writes the results back to the correct Google Sheets record—while preserving status and source traceability.

What this workflow does

• Starts with a webhook request containing the product URL, category, sheet reference, row context, and a unique Automation ID.
• Uses Automation ID for accuracy so extracted data is written back to the correct FF&E record, even when multiple products are processed in parallel.
• Validates URL format up front and stops early on invalid input—before any scraping or AI stages.
• Fetches the supplier page via HTTP and checks the response before extraction. If the page is blocked/unavailable/empty, it follows a failure path and updates the record with a clear page-fetch error status.
• Reduces HTML to extraction-ready content, excluding scripts, styles, and other non-content elements.
• Attempts to capture the product image from the page’s og:image metadata.
• Sends cleaned text to Google Gemini using a defined extraction schema, then writes the structured output back to the correct Google Sheets row.
