This n8n workflow pulls live candle data from OANDA, evaluates three technical trading strategies, and—when a BUY/SELL signal appears—sizes the trade from your account balance and risk settings, places a market order on OANDA with stop-loss and take-profit, then sends a Telegram execution alert.

What this workflow does

• Schedules execution every 5 minutes during active forex market hours.
• Stops during the weekend closure window: Fri 18:00 UTC to Sun 21:00 UTC.
• Runs three parallel strategy paths with per-strategy inputs (instrument, timeframe, risk percentage, OANDA account ID, and Telegram destination).
• Fetches the latest 50 candles from the OANDA Instruments Candles endpoint for each instrument/timeframe.
• Calculates signals using three algorithms:
  • EMA momentum (EMA9/EMA20 with touch confirmation)
  • RSI breakout with SMA trend filter and ATR-based stops
  • MACD crossover
• Merges outputs and filters out any strategy result where the signal is “none”.
• Retrieves OANDA account details to obtain the current account balance, then calculates position size plus stop-loss and take-profit prices from your configured risk and stop distance.
• Places a MARKET order on OANDA with attached stops/targets and sends a formatted Telegram message for each execution.
