This n8n workflow automatically collects suspected breach reports via an n8n form, scores them against GDPR risk factors stored in n8n Data Tables, uses Groq to validate any additional risk factors from the text (only when supported by verbatim quotes), and then posts the verdict and deadline reminders to Discord.

What this workflow does

• Initial setup (manual run): Creates four n8n Data Tables (risk factors, breach register, findings, reminders) and upserts a starter set of breach risk factors.
• Ingest breach reports: Triggers when someone submits the “Report a suspected personal data breach” form with incident details, awareness time, and key risk indicators.
• Score against policy: Loads the risk factor policy from the risk factor table, scores the report using form answers and keyword matches, and calculates the GDPR 72-hour deadline from the awareness time.
• Validate additional factors with Groq: Sends the breach description and known factors to Groq to suggest additional factors only when backed by verbatim quotes, then merges accepted suggestions into a final verdict.
• Record results: Writes the breach assessment into the breach register and logs each matched factor (or records “none”) into the findings table.
• Escalate via Discord: If notification to a supervisory authority is required, posts the verdict, deadline, and evidence summary to Discord and directs the reporter to the appropriate next-step completion page.
• Daily deadline reminders: Runs every morning and checks not-yet-notified notifiable breaches nearing or past their deadline, posting reminders.
