This n8n Gold Chain Repricing Workflow uses Google Sheets + goldapi.io (or a demo rate) to calculate updated gold prices for your stock list, generates a WhatsApp-ready catalogue and “what changed” announcement, and uses Twilio WhatsApp to request owner approval before broadcasting to customers.

What this workflow does

• Runs on schedule (or on demand): executes every weekday at 08:00 (or manually), then loads business, pricing, sheet, and WhatsApp settings from a single configuration step.
• Reads your stock list from Google Sheets: pulls chain rows from your sheet (or uses built-in demo stock). Items are held back if they’re missing weight, have an unknown style, or use unsupported karat.
• Fetches today’s 24k gold rate: pulls the daily gold price per gram from goldapi.io (or uses a labeled demo rate).
• Prices chains safely and validates rate changes: reprices each chain and stops if the new rate appears implausible compared to the previous published rate.
• Builds customer-ready messages: creates a catalogue and a concise announcement that includes only relevant changes (new items, back in stock, last few, and sold out).
• Schedules WhatsApp broadcasting with approval: reads customer numbers from Google Sheets (or demo customers), filters invalid/duplicate entries, enforces a broadcast cap, and prepares one message per recipient.
• Twilio WhatsApp approval gate: sends the draft announcement to the owner via Twilio with an approval link, then broadcasts the approved message to customers (or outputs a preview when sending is disabled).
• Optionally updates Google Sheets: when live mode is enabled, writes today’s pricing details back to your stock sheet (price, rate, quantity, etc.).
