Google Sheets leads → rate-limited CRM queue with Jitterflow (and full status back to your sheet)
Stream your “Leads” spreadsheet into a CRM without triggering spikes: this n8n workflow reads new Google Sheets entries, validates emails, queues each lead through Jitterflow at your configured rate limit, and then writes queue/job results and CRM rejection errors back to the same sheet.
What this workflow does
- Hourly import: Every hour, the workflow reads all rows from the Google Sheets Leads tab.
- Process only new rows: It keeps rows where Status is empty.
- Email normalization & validation: Fields are trimmed, and the email is normalized to lowercase. If email format validation fails, the row is marked as Invalid email in Google Sheets.
- Rate-limited CRM queueing via Jitterflow: Valid leads are sent as webhook jobs to Jitterflow, using the email as an idempotency key to prevent duplicates.
- Write back results: After enqueueing, the workflow updates the row to Queued, stores the Jitterflow job ID, and notes if the email was already queued.
- Morning dead-letter handling: Every day at 8:00, it checks Jitterflow’s dead-letter queue, filters to entries created by this sheet import, and marks matching rows as Rejected by CRM.
- Capture rejection details: It writes the HTTP status/error reason into the Note column.
Use cases
- CRM contact creation from a shared Google Sheets pipeline (SaaS operator workflows).
- Reliable lead ingestion with rate limiting and retry safety using Jitterflow.
- Operational visibility: track invalid emails, queued jobs, job IDs, and CRM rejection reasons in one place.
Technical details
- Node/stack: n8n with if, set, filter, sticky note, Google Sheets, and Schedule Trigger.
- Integration: community node n8n-nodes-jitterflow (required for Jitterflow nodes).
- Setup includes: create a Jitterflow API credential, configure a Jitterflow endpoint targeting your CRM create-contact API (with pacing/rate limit), and paste the endpoint key into the workflow.
