What this workflow does

• Runs daily at your scheduled time via the workflow’s scheduler.
• Reads all inventory rows from your configured Google Sheets document (sheet name defaults to Inventory).
• Calculates stock status for each item (healthy, low_stock, or out_of_stock) using the row data (including current_stock and reorder_threshold).
• Skips healthy items and any items already alerted today by checking last_alert_date.
• Posts to Slack with urgency:
  • Out-of-stock: urgent Slack message
  • Low-stock: lower-urgency Slack message
  Messages include supplier contact details (e.g., supplier_name, supplier_contact).
• Updates the Google Sheets row by setting last_alert_date to today’s date to avoid repeat alerts until the next day.
