Turn Swiggy & Zomato reviews into instant action—Telegram alerts + Google Sheets logging
This n8n workflow monitors new Swiggy and Zomato reviews, analyzes sentiment and urgency with OpenAI (gpt-4o-mini), drafts suggested replies, and logs everything to Google Sheets. Critical feedback is escalated via Telegram and Gmail, while non-critical reviews get ready-to-paste reply drafts. Every week, it also emails a dish-level sentiment report.
What this workflow does
- Runs every 30 minutes to fetch review data from an HTTP endpoint or accepts new reviews via a webhook.
- Normalizes review payloads from Swiggy/Zomato into a consistent format (IDs, ratings, text, dates, and ordered items).
- Loads previously logged review IDs plus your menu from Google Sheets to prevent duplicates and enable dish matching.
-
Uses gpt-4o-mini to:
- Classify sentiment and urgency
- Extract dish mentions and key issues
- Generate a suggested public reply and an internal action
- Writes results to Google Sheets:
- “Reviews Log”: one row per review
- “Dish Mentions”: one row per dish mention
-
Alerts via Telegram + Gmail:
- Critical reviews (low rating / high urgency) go to Telegram and escalate via Gmail
- Non-critical reviews are posted to Telegram as reply drafts
- Every Monday at 9 AM, generates a weekly HTML report (platform + dish sentiment) from the last two weeks, emails it via Gmail, posts a Telegram summary, and archives it in “Weekly Reports”.
Use cases
- SaaS operators and restaurant teams who want faster review response without manual copy/paste
- Automation engineers building a review monitoring system for multiple platforms (Swiggy + Zomato)
- Teams that need dish-level sentiment tracking over time for menu improvements
