This n8n workflow automatically monitors target companies’ career pages using Apify, detects new role matches against your keywords, generates a compliant outreach first line with GPT-4, saves results to Google Sheets, and posts a Slack digest when new opportunities appear.

What this workflow does

• Runs on a schedule or on-demand (every Monday at 8am, or when started manually).
• Loads your inputs: target company URLs, role keywords, and offer context.
• Validates inputs and reads prior results from the Google Sheets tab “Hiring leads” to find previously seen roles.
• Scrapes and filters roles with Apify: uses an Apify actor to locate careers/ATS pages and collect job listings matching your configured keywords.
• Avoids duplicate outreach: groups jobs by company, compares them to saved role IDs, and skips AI generation when nothing new is detected.
• Uses OpenAI to draft outreach: for companies with matching roles, calls an OpenAI chat model to decide relevance and generate a single outreach first line that cites specific job posts.
• Rejects unsupported drafts: discards outputs that include unsupported claims, numbers, links, or missing citations.
• Stores results and notifies: upserts one row per company into Google Sheets, then posts a Slack digest for companies with a usable first line and at least one newly detected matching role.
