n8n LinkedIn Monitor: Slack Alerts + Claude Summaries

Get Slack alerts for new LinkedIn posts—plus Claude summaries you can act on

This n8n LinkedIn Monitor workflow watches your target LinkedIn accounts, finds posts you haven’t seen before, and sends a Slack alert containing a Claude Haiku summary with a suggested comment angle and DM opener.

What this workflow does

• Runs every morning at 8:00 and reads your targets from the Accounts tab (account_name, linkedin_url, author_id).
• Checks the Posts tab to see which post IDs have already been processed and skips anything previously seen.
• If an account’s author_id is blank, Periodix resolves it once (Get Company Profile for company pages, Get Profile for people) and saves it back to your sheet for faster future runs.
• Pulls latest posts via Get User Posts, then keeps only posts that are new, not reposts (optional), and newer than your age limit.
• For each new post, Claude Haiku generates:
  • a summary with a comment angle
  • a DM opener
  • relevance scoring/rating tied to what you sell
  • an explanation (“why”) for the recommendation
• Saves the full post + AI insight to the Posts tab and sends a Slack notification to your channel.
