This n8n NCR Intake & Triage workflow captures Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) from an n8n Form, calculates an RPN-based risk level, checks Google Sheets for duplicates, logs valid NCRs to a master sheet, and sends Gmail alerts to the reporter, QA team, and QA manager for high-risk escalations.

What this workflow does

• Receives NCR input from an n8n Form submission.
• Normalizes and generates a unique NCR ID using configured RPN thresholds and QA notification email settings.
• Calculates Risk Priority Number (RPN) as Severity × Occurrence × Detectability, then assigns a Low / Medium / High / Critical risk level.
• Validates the report date: rejects submissions where “Date Detected” is in the future, and emails the reporter via Gmail with the rejection reason.
• Detects duplicates by searching the NCR master Google Sheet for matching Department and Issue Title; if found, sends a duplicate warning email to the reporter.
• Logs valid, non-duplicate NCRs to Google Sheets and notifies both the reporter and the QA team via Gmail.
• Escalates high-risk items: for High or Critical risk, updates the Sheets record with an escalation level and emails the QA manager to trigger immediate review.

• Sheet structure: create the tab with the required column headers so append/update mappings work correctly.
