This n8n workflow automatically selects the next “Ready” newsletter topic from your Google Sheets calendar, researches it with Tavily, drafts a three-section HTML newsletter with OpenAI, and creates a draft campaign in MailerLite—then writes the campaign ID back to the sheet.

What this workflow does

• Runs weekly on a schedule.
• Reads your Google Sheets newsletter calendar and picks the earliest row marked Ready that is due today or earlier (UTC) and has no Campaign ID.
• Marks the selected row as In progress.
• Uses Tavily to research the main newsletter topic.
• Uses OpenAI to generate a newsletter title and exactly three section topics based on the Tavily sources.
• For each section, performs a focused Tavily search and uses OpenAI to write the section with one cited source URL.
• Optionally calls Google Gemini to evaluate user-provided image URLs and pick one image.
• Validates and renders the result into plain HTML, then creates a draft campaign in MailerLite for the specified Audience Group ID.
• Writes the MailerLite Campaign ID back to Google Sheets and updates the row status to Draft.
