Turn new OneDrive videos into native social posts—automatically

This n8n workflow watches a Microsoft OneDrive folder for newly added video files, uploads each video to PostWire, generates platform-specific drafts, and publishes natively to LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and Facebook. If publishing fails on any platform, it alerts your team via Microsoft Outlook.

What this workflow does

• Detects new videos: Triggers when a new file is created in your selected Microsoft OneDrive folder.
• Filters for video content: Continues only when the file’s MIME type indicates a video.
• Builds a posting prompt: Derives the posting prompt from the video filename and sets the target platforms and brand voice.
• Uploads through PostWire: Requests a PostWire upload URL, downloads the video from OneDrive, uploads it to PostWire, and finalizes the upload to obtain a PostWire media URL.
• Generates per-platform drafts: Asks PostWire to create drafts using the prompt, brand voice, and the uploaded media URL.
• Publishes natively to each platform: Publishes to LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook using the OneDrive file ID as an idempotency key to help prevent duplicate posts.
• Emails on failure: If any platform publish fails, sends a Microsoft Outlook email with the error and suggested fix.
