The n8n Pharma Regulatory Monitor: Claude Summaries + Slack Alerts workflow scans regulatory publications on a schedule, deduplicates what you’ve already seen, and uses Anthropic Claude to summarize implications and urgency—then creates compliance tickets and sends notifications to Slack.

What this workflow does

• Runs on a schedule (or manually for testing) to start a monitoring cycle.
• Polls a configured regulatory publications API (via HTTP) for the latest publications and deduplicates results using publication IDs stored in workflow static data.
• Filters new items to only those matching your monitored therapeutic areas and products. If nothing relevant remains, the workflow stops.
• Fetches full text for each relevant publication and sends it to Anthropic Claude to:
  • classify affected areas/products
  • summarize implications
  • assign an urgency level with recommended compliance actions
• Creates compliance tickets via HTTP API, selecting high-priority or normal-priority based on Claude’s urgency classification.
• Notifies your team in Slack by posting:
  • an immediate alert for urgent items
  • a summary for all processed items
• Records processed publication IDs so future runs only act on newly published items.
