The n8n Prior Auth Tracker captures each prior authorization request as it leaves your clinic, scores packet completeness with gpt-6-luna, tracks payer responses (approved/denied/pended), and drafts an AI appeal when a denial arrives—while proactively chasing the payer on a schedule.

What this workflow does

• Logs requests via an n8n Form (“New PA Request Form”) and captures patient reference, payer, procedure, CPT code, ordering provider, urgency, date sent to payer, clinical notes summary, and requester email.
• Generates a unique pa_id (PA-yyyyMMdd-HHmmss-####) and stores received_at using “Normalize PA Request.”
• Validates required fields (“Validate PA Request”)—including patient reference, payer, CPT code, and a well-formed requester email.
• Scores packet completeness with gpt-6-luna and identifies missing documents, returning a payer status message that’s stored in your tracker.
• Updates “PA Tracker” in Google Sheets with each request row.
• Sends confirmation + next follow-up email to the requester, and triggers a Telegram alert for expedited requests.
• Receives payer answers on a webhook (approved/denied/pended) and updates the matched row.
• On denial, drafts an AI appeal and sends a Telegram alert.
• Runs a daily 08:00 email sweep that emails a chase brief for any request whose follow-up date has passed.
