This n8n workflow automatically audits procurement transactions from Google Sheets against regulatory rules, generates an AI-written batch compliance report with Google Gemini, logs transaction-level alerts back to Sheets, and emails you the finalized audit summary via Gmail.

What this workflow does

• Starts a new audit cycle on a schedule to consistently monitor procurement activity.
• Reads transactions and policy thresholds from separate tabs in Google Sheets—then enriches each transaction with audit metadata and applicable thresholds.
• Evaluates every transaction against all rules to detect violations across areas including GDPR, SOX/financial, labor law, anti-bribery, contract management, and due diligence, including risk scoring.
• Generates results at two levels:
  • Transaction-level outputs for compliance decisioning
  • A batch summary for overall audit reporting
• Uses Google Gemini to turn the batch summary into a structured narrative compliance audit report.
• Writes back to Google Sheets:
  • Non-compliant items go to Compliance_Alerts
  • All items append to Audit_Reports
  • The AI report is stored in AI_Batch_Reports
• Sends the formatted batch audit summary by email using Gmail to your configured recipient.
