This n8n workflow runs every day at 9:30 AM to analyze procurement spend from Google Sheets, calculate category-level savings and risk metrics, use Groq (Llama 3.3) to generate Kraljic Matrix recommendations, then log results to Notion and send an HTML email report via Gmail.

What this workflow does

• Daily scheduled run: triggers automatically at 9:30 AM.
• Reads spend data from Google Sheets: fetches procurement transactions and groups today’s rows by category.
• Calculates savings & risk metrics: for each category, it computes total spend, supplier list/count, filters to categories with at least two suppliers, then estimates savings, savings %, supplier dominance, risk score, and an optimization level.
• Generates Kraljic Matrix insights with Groq: sends the calculated metrics to Groq (Llama 3.3) to classify categories into Kraljic Matrix quadrants and produce issues, recommendations, insights, and optional web search queries.
• Parses AI JSON output: merges the AI results back with the computed savings/risk metrics.
• Saves results for reporting: writes enriched category records into a Notion database and appends key metrics to a Google Sheets dashboard sheet.
• Sends an aggregated email: builds an HTML report that includes a Data Studio dashboard link and emails it via Gmail.
