n8n Quote Request Workflow: Google Sheets + Gmail Validation

This n8n Quote Request Workflow collects submissions from an n8n Form, checks which required details are missing, stores each request in Google Sheets, and sends both the business owner and the customer the right Gmail messages based on the validation result.

What this workflow does

• Receives a new quote request from an n8n Form submission.
• Normalizes submitted fields, generates a unique request reference, and validates the submission against a configurable list of required_fields.
• Prevents duplicate entries by looking up the generated request reference in Google Sheets (to avoid saving duplicate requests from the same day).
• Saves the request to Google Sheets in the “Requests” tab with a status of either ready_to_quote or missing_info.
• Email the business owner via Gmail with the request details and the current status.
• Email the customer via Gmail:
  • If details are missing: asks for the missing information.
  • If everything is present: confirms the request and includes the expected reply_within timeframe.
• Displays a thank-you completion page after customer messaging.

• Google Sheets requirements: a spreadsheet with a tab named “Requests”, including a request_id column matching what the workflow appends.
• Gmail setup in n8n: configure owner_email, business_name, reply_within, and required_fields.
