This n8n Regulatory Update Digest workflow scans your chosen authority websites, extracts recent regulatory notices using OpenAI (with a web-scraper sub-workflow) and Perplexity, logs deduplicated updates to Google Sheets, and emails an HTML digest to recipients stored in a Microsoft Excel workbook—complete with unsubscribe handling.

What this workflow does

• Runs every three days and reads an authority website list from Google Sheets, including include/exclude topics.
• For each website, uses OpenAI to extract regulatory updates by combining results from:
  • a web-scraper sub-workflow, and
  • a Perplexity domain-filtered search.
• Filters notices to the last three days; if nothing recent remains, the workflow skips that site.
• Writes updates to a Google Sheets “updates” spreadsheet, deduplicating by title.
• Builds one HTML digest and sends it to recipients pulled from all worksheets in a Microsoft Excel workbook, excluding rows marked as not interested/unavailable.
• Sends in BCC batches of 20 per email, grouped by category, using SMTP with a short pause between sends.
• Monitors an IMAP inbox for replies containing “Not Interested” and updates the matching recipient row in Excel to mark them unsubscribed.
