This n8n workflow automatically reads seven RSS sources, deduplicates and tracks articles in Google Sheets, and uses the Google Gemini API to generate structured Japanese titles and summaries—so your team stays on top of new updates without manual copy/paste.

What this workflow does

• Runs every 15 minutes to load workflow settings and pull existing article history from Google Sheets.
• Fetches from seven configured RSS feeds, and if a direct feed fails, it falls back to a Google News RSS query.
• Cleans, normalizes, and deduplicates incoming items against the stored records in the Articles sheet.
• Writes results back to Google Sheets:
  • New/updated article rows in the Articles tab
  • Per-source feed health status entries in the FeedStatus tab
• Batches pending items (up to a configured limit) and sends their RSS titles/excerpts to Google Gemini to generate Japanese titles and summaries.
• Validates Gemini’s JSON response, marks failures for retry, and updates each Google Sheets row with the Japanese title, summary, status, and timestamp.
