This n8n workflow automatically fetches your chosen RSS feed, has Claude write a short, factual digest from the latest items only, and then posts the digest to Slack using an Incoming Webhook—fully automated and schedule-driven.

What this workflow does

• Runs on a schedule (via the Schedule Trigger—default is every 24 hours, adjustable to your cadence).
• Fetches and parses RSS: downloads the RSS feed and converts it from XML to JSON.
• Extracts the latest items: pulls item fields including title, link, publish date, and summary, capped by a configurable maxItems.
• Summarizes with Claude (Anthropic): sends only the extracted data to the Anthropic Claude Messages API, instructing Claude to produce a short factual digest using only the provided content, with automatic retries on transient failures.
• Posts to Slack reliably: delivers the digest to Slack via Slack Incoming Webhook and verifies delivery by checking the actual response body rather than assuming success.
