n8n RSS to TikTok & Instagram Slideshow with Postdom

Turn every new RSS post into a TikTok + Instagram slideshow—then get Slack approval before it publishes (via Postdom)

This n8n workflow monitors your blog’s RSS feed hourly, converts new posts into a branded slideshow using Postdom, routes a preview to Slack for human approval, and—once approved—schedules the slideshow as a TikTok and Instagram post through Postdom.

What this workflow does

• Checks your RSS feed every hour for new blog items.
• Generates slideshow content from the post title and opening sentences, including a caption and an idempotency key.
• Creates the slideshow in Postdom and polls Postdom until the render status is ready.
• Sends a preview + caption to a Slack channel, then waits for an Approve or Decline decision.
• On approval, pulls your connected Postdom social accounts and builds a scheduled post targeted to the selected platforms (TikTok and Instagram).
• Publishes via Postdom and sends a confirmation back to Slack with the posting status.

Use cases

• SaaS operators who want consistent social distribution of blog content without manual editing.
• Automation engineers building an n8n publishing pipeline with Postdom-rendered slides.
• Teams that require review: Slack approval ensures only approved posts go out to TikTok and Instagram.

Technical details

• Postdom integration via HTTP Header Auth (Bearer token) using a Postdom agent key for all Postdom HTTP requests.
• Slack approval loop: workflow posts preview links and waits for Approve/Decline.
• n8n nodes used: if, set, code, no op, wait, slack.
• Configurable settings: RSS feed URL, Postdom connected TikTok/Instagram accounts, slide size, brand handle, TikTok privacy level, and publish delay after approval.

Perfect if you’re looking for an n8n RSS to social workflow that combines Postdom slideshow rendering, Slack review, and scheduled publishing to TikTok and Instagram.
