Rescue VIP outreach or cool-down guidance—automatically. Every day at 8AM, this n8n workflow audits a Salesforce Account, uses Groq to decide the best next move, sends guidance to Slack, and logs the outcome back to Salesforce.
What this workflow does
This n8n Salesforce automation uses Groq LLM agents plus operational checks to keep VIP accounts moving—without manual monitoring.
- Daily audit (8AM): Runs every day at 8AM and fetches a specific Salesforce Account record.
-
Account routing: Switches behavior based on Salesforce fields:
- Platinum-tier accounts are treated as “Neglected VIP”.
- Accounts with “Alert” in the Account Description are treated as “Over-Saturated”.
-
Neglected VIP “rescue” path:
- Uses Groq to generate a rescue strategy.
- Creates a high-priority Salesforce Task for the account.
- Sends the rescue strategy to Slack.
- 24-hour verification: Waits 24 hours, re-fetches the created Task, and checks whether its Status is Completed.
-
Slack confirmation & Salesforce logging:
- Posts to Slack confirming completion, or escalates if the Task is not completed.
- Updates the Salesforce Account Description with a timestamped audit result.
-
Over-saturated “cool-down” path:
- Uses Groq to generate a low-touch cool-down plan.
- Posts the recommendation to Slack without creating a Task.
- Logs “cool-down mode” to the Salesforce Account Description.
Use cases
- Sales teams that need daily VIP account triage across Salesforce.
- SaaS operators wanting Slack-ready, Groq-generated playbooks tied to Salesforce Tasks.
- Automation engineers building auditable workflows with timed re-checks and field updates.
