This n8n workflow performs daily SSL certificate monitoring across multiple domains, runs dual verification for accurate health assessment, and immediately notifies you via Discord when certificates are nearing expiry or security/compliance checks fail. Results are organized in Notion for professional reporting—without relying on expensive monitoring services.

What this workflow does

• Daily Trigger: Runs every morning to proactively monitor your domains.
• URL Collection: Pulls the list of website URLs to monitor from your data source.
• Dual SSL Analysis:
  • Runs a Free SSL Assessment Script from sysadmin-toolkit (GitHub: https://github.com/Bubobot-Team/sysadmin-toolkit/).
  • Cross-validates with the SSL-Checker.io API for external verification.
• Comprehensive Health Check: Evaluates certificate expiration (configurable threshold, default 30 days), SSL configuration security, supported TLS versions (including deprecated protocols), cipher suite strength, vulnerability findings (e.g., POODLE/BEAST), and compliance checks (e.g., PCI DSS, NIST, FIPS).
• Smart Alert System: Sends Discord notifications when certificates near expiry, security vulnerabilities appear, compliance standards aren’t met, configuration issues are detected (weak ciphers/deprecated protocols), or the grade drops below an acceptable level.
