This n8n Trip Planner Workflow collects traveler preferences via n8n Forms, uses Google Gemini plus web research and driving-time lookups to validate feasibility, generates a structured day-by-day itinerary, and emails it via Gmail. It also runs on a schedule to perform pre-trip recheck alerts (weather and travel/traffic conditions) for upcoming trips.

What this workflow does

• Captures traveler requirements through an n8n Form (language, travel style, interests, food/stay preferences, and special considerations), including validation and correction screens.
• Normalizes and stores a traveler profile in an n8n Data Table for reuse across future runs.
• Collects trip basics (dates, origin/destinations, transport preference, accommodation status, budget, and must-visit notes) and validates inputs.
• Determines feasibility checks with Gemini, then performs targeted research using Tavily and driving-time lookups via the Google Maps Routes API.
• Synthesizes findings and sets conditions—Gemini decides whether itinerary generation can proceed and what rechecks should be carried forward.
• Generates a multi-day itinerary with Gemini, stores it in an n8n Data Table, renders an HTML view, and sends the plan to the traveler using Gmail.
• Runs daily for scheduled rechecks to find upcoming planned trips and update conditions using Open-Meteo (weather) and additional transport/facility/traffic checks (via Tavily + Gemini analysis).
