n8n Webhook: Filter Form Leads to Google Sheets + Gmail Replies

This n8n webhook workflow receives your website contact form submissions, screens out likely spam, appends valid enquiries to Google Sheets, and sends an acknowledgement email via Gmail. Suspicious submissions are logged separately in an Exceptions tab with a clear rejection reason.

What this workflow does

• Receives POST requests from your website form via an n8n Webhook.
• Normalizes incoming data into consistent fields: name, email, company, phone, message, page, honeypot, plus timestamps.
• Validates and flags likely junk by checking email structure, honeypot usage, disposable domains, overly short messages, excessive links, common cold-pitch phrases, and all-caps content.
• Routes results: valid enquiries go to the main flow; flagged submissions go to an exceptions path with a rejection reason.
• Enriches valid enquiries with context such as email domain, personal-vs-business email detection, a derived account name, a likely website, an enquiry ID, and a default status.
• Appends to Google Sheets:
  • Leads tab for accepted enquiries
  • Exceptions tab for filtered submissions
• Sends a Gmail acknowledgement to the submitter for valid enquiries.
