Automatically qualify website leads with n8n—OpenAI scoring, multilingual Gmail replies, and Google Sheets tracking

This n8n workflow receives leads from your website form via a webhook, validates and scores them using OpenAI, stores updates in Google Sheets, replies through Gmail in the lead’s language, and sends Telegram hot-lead alerts plus a daily digest and automated follow-ups.

What this workflow does

• Captures leads instantly: Receives a POST webhook from your website form and immediately returns a response indicating success, spam-ignored, or validation-error.
• Normalizes and validates submissions: Cleans the fields, checks spam using a honeypot and link limits, and verifies required consent. Produces a clean lead profile.
• Detects returning leads: Looks up the lead by email in the Google Sheets “Leads” tab to pull status/history.
• Uses OpenAI for qualification: Sends lead details + prior history to OpenAI to classify the request, score fit, extract key details, and draft a plain-text reply in the lead’s language.
• Replies via Gmail (optional): If enabled, sends the drafted reply using Gmail and upserts the updated lead row in Google Sheets with AI results and timestamps.
• Alerts you on Telegram: Sends a Telegram hot-lead alert or notifies when the AI step fails for manual review.
• Daily digest + follow-ups: Every morning, reads the full Google Sheet to send a Telegram digest. When follow-up is due, generates and sends a follow-up with OpenAI, replies in the same Gmail thread, and records the outcome back to Google Sheets.
