Turn a Blog URL into Ready-to-Post Social Copy—Automatically

This n8n workflow lets you send a blog post link to a webhook and automatically generates LinkedIn, Twitter/X, and Instagram copy using OpenAI. It then logs everything into Google Sheets and alerts your team in Slack for review—so your content calendar stays current without manual rewriting.

What this workflow does

• Receives a POST webhook with a blogUrl (e.g., { "blogUrl": "https://example.com/post" }).
• Fetches the blog page HTML from the provided URL and extracts the post title and main body text.
• Uses OpenAI to rewrite the article into:
  • A LinkedIn post
  • A 3–5 tweet Twitter/X thread
  • An Instagram caption with separate hashtags in JSON format
• Parses and formats the AI output, adds today’s date, and sets Status to “Needs Review.”
• Appends a new row to Google Sheets in a content calendar with columns: Date, LinkedIn, Twitter thread, Instagram Caption, Hashtags, and Status.
• Sends a Slack notification to the selected channel so your team can review the generated content.
