This n8n webhook workflow receives an IP address from your order/signup events, checks it against IPGeolocation’s Security API, and immediately returns a structured JSON risk assessment—so you can decide whether to allow, request additional verification, or manually review the event.

What this workflow does

• Receives a POST webhook request containing an ip field (plus optional order/signup metadata).
• Validates the payload format, including a basic IPv4/IPv6 syntax check. If invalid, it returns HTTP 400 with validation details.
• Calls IPGeolocation’s getIpSecurityInfo endpoint to retrieve security signals such as threat score and VPN/proxy/Tor flags.
