Weekly CRM Lead Cleanup for Google Sheets—With Optional Email Revalidation via NeverBounce

Keep your CRM lead list accurate automatically. This n8n workflow runs every Sunday to audit and clean lead records in Google Sheets, flags problems that need attention, and (optionally) revalidates stale emails using NeverBounce—then logs a weekly data quality report to your spreadsheet and can notify a webhook.

What this workflow does

• Scheduled out-of-hours audit: Executes every Sunday at 20:00 to start a weekly data hygiene pass.
• Reads and safely cleans lead rows: Pulls all lead rows from the “Leads” tab and applies safe, non-destructive fixes such as trimming fields, lowercasing emails, normalizing domains, and rebuilding missing lead IDs.
• Detects issues for human review: Flags records requiring review—e.g., duplicates, missing domains, malformed emails, unsynced live leads, and missing CRM owners—while compiling an audit summary.
• Dry run or write-back: If write-back is enabled, updates the original rows in the “Leads” sheet in place. If disabled, it performs a dry run and writes nothing.
• Optional NeverBounce revalidation: When a NeverBounce API key is provided, selects a batch of stale email addresses, checks them with NeverBounce, updates email status in “Leads”, and suppresses leads that become invalid.
• Weekly reporting and logging: Appends aggregate metrics to “Data Quality Summary” and appends one row per issue to “Data Quality”.
• Webhook alerts (optional): If configured, sends the formatted report text to a configurable alert webhook URL.
