Keep your Famulor assistant inventory synced to Google Sheets—automatically
n8n Weekly Famulor Inventory Sync to Google Sheets is an automation workflow that pulls your Famulor assistants via the Famulor API and keeps a nine-column inventory updated in Google Sheets. It runs weekly (every Monday at 09:00) or on-demand, and upserts rows matched by Assistant ID.
What this workflow does
- Schedules an inventory sync every Monday at 09:00 (or you can run it manually).
- Fetches assistant records from the Famulor API using paginated HTTP GET requests.
- Validates pagination consistency and applies a 2,000-record safety limit to protect sync runs.
- Transforms results into Google Sheets-ready rows, including a “Last seen” timestamp.
- Preview mode support: if preview mode is enabled, it stops after outputting prepared rows for inspection.
- Live upsert to Google Sheets: when preview mode is disabled, it checks for existing rows and then appends or updates rows using Assistant ID as the unique key.
Use cases
- SaaS operators who need a reliable, human-readable Famulor inventory for weekly reporting.
- Automation engineers who want an audit-friendly sheet with Created at, Updated at, and Last seen fields.
- Teams managing multiple assistants who need lightweight tracking in Google Sheets without building a custom dashboard.
