Automatically Reprice WooCommerce Products Using Amazon Buy-Box Prices (Bright Data + OpenAI + Slack)

n8n WooCommerce Amazon Price Repricer compares your WooCommerce prices against Amazon buy-box prices scraped via Bright Data, validates product matching with OpenAI (GPT-5.6), and then (optionally) updates your WooCommerce sale prices—while logging every decision to Google Sheets and posting a daily digest to Slack.

What this workflow does

  • Runs daily on a schedule and loads repricing rules such as limits, margin/undercut settings, a dry_run flag, and the target Slack channel.
  • Pulls up to the configured number of products from WooCommerce, then reads a Google Sheets mapping of SKU → amazon_url (including cost) to create comparable product pairs.
  • Triggers Bright Data’s Amazon product dataset for the competitor URLs and polls until the snapshot scrape is ready.
  • Downloads results and extracts buy-box price, availability, and title, joining them back to WooCommerce by URL.
  • Uses OpenAI (GPT-5.6) to confirm the WooCommerce listing and the Amazon URL refer to the same product.
  • Calculates a new sale price with guardrails (margin floor, regular-price ceiling, maximum change per run, and a sanity band).
  • If dry_run is off, updates the WooCommerce sale price; if on, skips writes but keeps reporting.
  • Appends each proposed/applied change to a Google Sheets “Reprice Log” tab and posts a summary to Slack, including held-back items and reasons.

Use cases

  • Daily repricing for SaaS ops teams managing a WooCommerce catalog against Amazon competitors.
  • Amazon price monitoring with safe validation to reduce mismatches before any WooCommerce price change.
  • Controlled “dry-run” testing to evaluate impact before enabling automated repricing.
