This n8n workflow takes Airtable “ideas”, uses OpenAI (GPT-4o) to generate a full SEO blog post, converts it into Twitter/X and LinkedIn drafts, sends everything to Slack for approval, and then publishes approved content to WordPress and social channels. Rejected drafts are automatically regenerated and re-submitted until approved.

What this workflow does

• Runs on a schedule (hourly) and searches the Airtable table for records in the Content table where Status = idea.
• Marks each record as processing, validates the Topic length, and generates a 1200+ word SEO blog post using OpenAI (GPT-4o).
• Transforms the blog into a 10-tweet thread, creates a LinkedIn post, and generates a social media image using OpenAI image generation.
• Updates Airtable with the generated draft, sets Status = pending_approval, and sends a Slack message with approve/reject actions that resume the workflow via a webhook.
• If approved: an hourly check publishes in parallel to WordPress, Twitter/X, and LinkedIn, then marks the item as published.
• If rejected: an hourly check regenerates improved content with OpenAI, saves it back to Airtable as pending_approval, and requests re-approval in Slack.
• Error handling: if any OpenAI step fails, the workflow sends error details to a Slack alert channel and continues with the next record.
