Auto-draft LinkedIn replies every weekday—then get your approval in Slack

This n8n workflow automatically checks your LinkedIn conversations via HeyReagent, drafts responses with OpenAI, and sends each draft to Slack for approval. Only after you click “Send it” does it post the reply back to LinkedIn—keeping your tone consistent without constant manual copy/paste.

What this workflow does

• Runs every weekday at 9:00 using an n8n schedule trigger.
• Syncs your LinkedIn inbox through the HeyReagent API, waits one minute, and then fetches people whose messages are waiting for you.
• Filters eligible conversations: it removes items without a profile URL and skips conversations where the last message is older than your configured maximum waiting days.
• Builds reply drafts with OpenAI: for each remaining conversation, it retrieves the full thread from HeyReagent and generates a response using your “about you” and writing style settings.
• Routes drafts to Slack for review: it posts to Slack with “Send it” and “Skip” buttons and waits for your approval.
• Publishes approved replies: if approved, it posts the reply back to LinkedIn via HeyReagent, waits 30 seconds, then continues to the next conversation.
