What this workflow does

• Runs daily on a schedule trigger at 9:00 to start the contract review.
• Reads contract rows from your Google Sheets spreadsheet and standardizes key fields such as end date, auto-renewal clause, notice period, usage level, and supplier rating.
• Calculates risk by computing days remaining until the contract end date and assigning a Low / Medium / High renewal risk level based on auto-renewal timing, notice period timing, supplier rating, and usage level.
• Filters for action: only Medium and High risk contracts are sent for procurement review.
• Generates recommendations: sends contract details to a Groq-hosted chat model to produce a structured recommendation including decision, reason, risk, and recommended action.
• Posts alerts to Slack with risk details and the AI recommendation.
• Audits outcomes: appends an entry to an AlertLog sheet in Google Sheets (contract, risk level, days to end, timestamp, and action taken).
