Automatically request Google reviews from completed clients—every day

This n8n workflow reads your Google Sheets projects, finds clients who completed work at least 2+ days ago, and sends each of them a personalized Google review request email via Gmail. After sending, it updates the sheet so clients aren’t contacted twice.

What this workflow does

  • Runs daily at 11:00 using a Schedule Trigger.
  • Loads your business settings (business name, owner name, Google review link, and email signature) and pulls all rows from the Projects tab in Google Sheets.
  • Filters projects where:
    • status is Completed
    • completed_on is at least two days old
    • review_requested is blank
    • project_id and client_email are valid
  • Creates a thank-you + review link email tailored to each client.
  • Sends the email to the client using Gmail.
  • Updates the matching Google Sheets row (by project_id) to set review_requested to today’s date.

Use cases

  • SaaS operators and agencies who need a consistent Google reviews pipeline after project completion.
  • Automation engineers implementing reliable post-delivery outreach without manual follow-ups.
  • Businesses managing client communications from a single Projects sheet and preventing duplicate review requests.
