Auto-schedule Instagram & Facebook Reels from Google Sheets—every 5 minutes

This n8n workflow automatically finds the next due PENDING Instagram & Facebook Reel in your Google Sheets queue, generates captions with Google Gemini, publishes the video to Instagram Reels and Facebook Reels via the Meta Graph API, and then marks the item as POSTED in the sheet.

What this workflow does

• Runs on a schedule: triggers every five minutes using an n8n schedule trigger.
• Filters your queue: reads the next entries from the Google Sheets “Queue” tab and keeps only rows that are scheduled for publish (Asia/Kolkata) and have status PENDING.
• Generates captions with Gemini: sends the Reel’s video URL and content ID to Google Gemini (PaLM) and receives JSON containing an Instagram caption and a Facebook caption.
• Publishes to Instagram Reels: creates an Instagram Reel media container using the video URL and the generated Instagram caption, waits 30 seconds, checks Instagram processing status, and publishes when ready.
• Publishes to Facebook Reels: starts a Facebook upload session, uploads by URL, and publishes using the generated Facebook description.
• Updates Google Sheets: finds the matching row and sets status to POSTED.
