This n8n workflow turns a simple recaps.csv into 20-second vertical Year-in-Review videos for every customer: bold on-screen numbers in your brand colours, Shotstack music, and a voiceover timed to every slide—one customer per CSV row, with validation to prevent costly render mistakes.

What this workflow does

• Downloads Shotstack’s AI agent guide once, then reads recaps.csv and processes customers one at a time.
• Claude Opus 5.5 generates the full Shotstack edit from each customer’s facts plus a plain-English brief: 5–6 slides featuring big numbers, motion graphics in your brand colours, a music track from Shotstack’s music library, and one sentence per slide for the voiceover.
• Shotstack creates the voiceover using ElevenLabs and transcribes it.
• Timing is matched to the transcript: a Code step moves each slide to the moment its sentence is spoken so the words on screen always line up with the audio.
• Pre-cost edit checking: a Code step validates the edit before anything expensive happens—auto-fixes small issues and returns anything else to Claude.
• Render + failover: Shotstack renders and saves to the recaps folder. If the edit is rejected or rendering fails, Claude fixes it, up to twice.

Technical details

• Required inputs: recaps.csv with one row per customer (videos are ~20 seconds vertical recaps).
• API keys: add Anthropic API key (Claude) and Shotstack API key for Make the voice, Transcribe the voice, Check the transcript, Make the video, and Check the render (free trial: https://shotstack.io/).
• n8n nodes / steps include: if, set, code, no op, wait, and sticky note.
• Licensing note: about 1 Shotstack credit per video.

Self-hosted n8n only: install the Shotstack community node and import the workflow via the n8n community nodes panel or Settings → Community nodes.
