This n8n workflow collects a podcast episode via an n8n form, transcribes the audio with OpenAI (Whisper) if needed, generates 15 ready-to-review podcast assets (clips, quote graphics, newsletter, SEO show notes, and social content), then sends reviewer and submitter notifications through Notion and Gmail.

What this workflow does

• Ingests your episode through an n8n form: episode details plus either a transcript (SRT/VTT/TXT/plain text) or an audio file.
• Creates a timestamped transcript from the provided text, or runs OpenAI Whisper to transcribe the audio and formats it where timestamps are possible.
• Generates 15 assets with OpenAI:
  • 5 timestamped short-form clip suggestions
  • 5 quote graphic briefs
  • 1 newsletter draft and SEO-focused show notes
  • 1 LinkedIn carousel, 1 LinkedIn post, and 1 X thread
• Publishes to Notion for review by creating a database page with Status = Needs Review and appending the generated assets as page blocks in batches to respect Notion block limits.
• Notifies via Gmail:
  • Emails the reviewer with a link to the Notion page and instructions to set Approved or Changes Requested.
  • Polls the Notion database every minute and updates the page:
    • If Approved, sets Ready to Publish and records an Approved On date.
    • If Changes Requested, sets In Revision and emails the submitter.
