This n8n workflow runs daily to scan open Salesforce opportunities and their related tasks, identify overdue or high-priority dependencies, generate an AI-written escalation summary with Google Gemini, and alert stakeholders via Slack and Gmail—while updating the opportunity and logging the incident in Google Sheets.

What this workflow does

• Runs every day at 9:00 to start a bottleneck check.
• Retrieves open Salesforce opportunities and linked Salesforce tasks, then matches tasks to their related opportunities.
• Flags bottlenecks when tasks are overdue or high priority and still open.
• Derives dependency context from the task subject (e.g., legal, proposal, technical, finance) and calculates a severity level.
• For each bottleneck, sends opportunity + task context to Google Gemini to produce a JSON summary including escalation reason, recommended next action, owner team, and severity.
• Notifies stakeholders:
  • Posts a formatted bottleneck alert to a selected Slack channel.
  • Sends a plain-text escalation email via Gmail.
• Updates Salesforce: writes bottleneck details to the opportunity Next Step field.
• Logs activity by appending an audit row to Google Sheets.
