n8n Workflow: Find Local Businesses Without Websites (Maps) to Sheets

Find local Google Maps business leads that don’t have a website—then drop them straight into Google Sheets

This n8n workflow automatically pulls local business prospects from Google Maps via BasedOnBusiness, filters out any listings that already have a website, and appends the remaining leads (up to 500) into your selected `Google Sheets` tab using a simple input form.

What this workflow does

• Receives form inputs for business category, city, country code, and lead count.
• Validates and normalizes inputs to prevent invalid searches.
• Starts a BasedOnBusiness scraping job for Google Maps and uses an idempotency key to avoid duplicate billing on retries.
• Polls job status every 15 seconds until it finishes—failing if the job is cancelled, errors, or exceeds a 15-minute runtime.
• Downloads up to 500 results, splits them into individual businesses, and keeps only listings where the website field is empty.
• Appends one row per prospect to Google Sheets with fields including Business Name, Phone, Address, Category, Rating, Reviews, Google Maps URL, City, and Country.
