Find official university program pages automatically—then log the results to Google Sheets

This n8n workflow takes a university homepage URL plus a target field, country, and degree level, uses Firecrawl to verify the official site and locate the best matching program page and faculty/staff directory URL, and then appends the outcome to Google Sheets.

What this workflow does

• Receives inputs from an n8n Form Trigger: university homepage URL, target field, country, and degree level.
• Normalizes and validates the homepage URL, extracts the official domain, and ensures required inputs are present.
• Verifies the university site with Firecrawl Scrape by analyzing the homepage to confirm it’s an official, degree-granting university site in the selected country.
• Searches for program/department pages using Firecrawl Search across the official domain, then deduplicates and ranks candidates to select the best match.
• Scrapes and validates the best program page with Firecrawl Scrape, confirming evidence that the target field and requested degree level appear on the page.
• Locates a faculty/staff directory on the same official domain via Firecrawl Search, then selects the best directory URL.
• Appends results to Google Sheets as either a verified entry (program URL + faculty source URL) or a failure status.
