n8n Workflow: Flash-Sale Video & Email Banners (Sheets + Zvid)

Automate flash-sale creative: generate a Zvid vertical video + matching email banner from Google Sheets or Shopify

This n8n workflow automatically pulls eligible flash-sale data (from a pending Google Sheets row or a Shopify price drop), renders a vertical flash-sale video and email banner via Zvid, and can then update your sheet and send the banner as an HTML email.

What this workflow does

• Runs on demand or on a schedule: starts with a manual trigger for testing or on an hourly schedule.
• Selects the sale source based on configuration:
  • Shopify mode: polls Shopify for qualifying price drops.
  • Google Sheets mode: reads the next unprocessed row from Google Sheets.
• Stops cleanly: if no eligible sale is found, it returns a “nothing to announce” result.
• Checks background music URL and disables music if the file is unreachable or too large.
• Builds and validates Zvid render payloads for both:
  • a flash-sale video
  • a banner image
• Supports dry run: when enabled, saves drafts in the Zvid editor and outputs preview links plus a credit estimate.
• Executes production renders when dry run is off: submits jobs one at a time, polls Zvid until both complete, then collects the final video and banner URLs.
• Optionally updates outputs:
  • updates the originating Google Sheets row with status + URLs
  • sends the banner as an HTML email
  • downloads finished assets for review
