This n8n workflow takes a client’s proposal request from an n8n Form, extracts structured proposal fields using Anthropic Claude, generates a branded proposal PDF with ShipPDF, then sends it via Gmail and archives the final PDF to Google Drive after ShipPDF confirms completion.

What this workflow does

• Receives a new proposal request from an n8n Form submission, including client details, recipient email, and the free-text project brief.
• Uses Claude for structured extraction (via the Information Extractor) to convert the narrative brief into fields such as title, scope, timeline, and price.
• Generates a branded PDF with ShipPDF by sending the extracted fields to the ShipPDF API and providing an n8n resume webhook URL for the completion callback.
• Waits for ShipPDF completion, normalizes the returned status and PDF URL, and proceeds only when ShipPDF reports the document as completed.
• Downloads the generated PDF from the provided URL.
• Sends the PDF via Gmail as an email attachment to the recipient.
• Uploads the same PDF to Google Drive for archiving, after ShipPDF confirms completion.
• If ShipPDF does not complete successfully, the workflow routes execution to a placeholder step for your alerting/error handling.
